7 Security Service of Ukraine’s (SSU) drones destroyed a russian long-range radar in the Bryansk Oblast, which was helping to attack Ukraine with guided aerial bombs.

This was reported to Ukrainian News Agency by sources in law enforcement agencies.

This radar controlled the sky 700 km deep into Ukraine.

"This time, the russians have one less modernized Nebo-U complex, which helped the enemy detect Ukrainian weapons and supported bombers that attack the Ukrainian border with guided aerial bombs. The USD 100 million radar was hit by seven kamikaze aircraft-type drones," the interlocutors reported.

The SSU sources confirmed that the Nebo-U complex no longer works and "probably turned into a colander."

Thanks to the destruction of this radar, the enemy had fewer opportunities to detect air targets along the northern border of Ukraine.

"The radar blindness of the russians will help our troops conduct reconnaissance, launch drones and use army aviation more efficiently in this area. This is the second Nebo-U complex that was destroyed by the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the SSU. They destroyed the first one in the Belgorod Oblast of the russian federation. Also, the Kasta-2E2 radar complex near the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Berdiansk was destroyed," the interlocutors noted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian hackers destroyed a data center used by the russian military industry, oil and gas, and telecom.

The Security Service of Ukraine and the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense are standing behind the new drone attacks on oil refineries in russian Tatarstan.
