Our mission

The mission of the Ukrainian News Agency is to report news. We inform people about the most important events in Ukraine and abroad if they concern Ukraine. We report the news and points of view of the main newsmakers on which the development of the situation depends.

To bring our mission to life, the agency adheres to the best global journalistic standards built on such principles.

Objectivity, balance, completeness. The agency covers all events comprehensively and seeks to reflect the most important points of view of the participants. We present the opinions of newsmakers in the context of events.

Reliability. The agency always indicates the source of the information. We trust only primary sources and trusted sources of information. Any information is verified and confirmed. If this cannot be done promptly, we separately report it in the text.

Impartiality. The agency provides only facts or balanced opinions of event participants and market players without imposing its own opinions on its readers, leaving them the right to draw conclusions on their own.

Efficiency. We release news as soon as possible, as soon as it meets all standards.

Professionalism. All agency employees take a training course in news writing standards. The entire production process is clearly stated in the editorial guide and other guidance documents, which minimizes the likelihood of errors.

The Ukrainian News Agency has been operating on the market for more than 20 years. Over the years, the agency has trained hundreds of journalists who proceeded to work in other Ukrainian media, business, and public sectors.

We help people satisfy their right to information. After all, we believe that an informed reader is an informed citizen who does not succumb to propaganda and manipulation, does not believe fakes, and can distinguish the truth from lies. Therefore, they make their choices consciously. Conscious choice is the basis for a successful civil society.
