The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has banned Russian singer Natalia Koroliova (Poryvai) from entering Ukraine. The SBU announced this in response to a request by Parliamentary Deputy Oksana Korchynska and the SBU's spokeswoman Olena Hitlianska published a copy of the relevant decision on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports. Koroliova was banned from entering Ukraine for five years on October 12. According to the announcement, Koroliova holds Russian citizenship. Koroliova, who was born in Kyiv, is an Honored Artist of Russia. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SBU earlier banned former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev from entering Ukraine for five years.
