Ukraine Counts On Further Support From USA Within Military-Technical Cooperation

Ukraine counts on further support from the United States within the military-technical cooperation between the two countries.

The press service of the President of Ukraine announced this in a statement following a meeting of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with representatives of the Jewish organizations of the United States, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the meeting President Petro Poroshenko called for international communication and solidarity.

Poroshenko told the representatives of the Jewish organizations of the United States about the situation on Donbas and violations of human rights on the territories occupied by Russia. He also highlighted the importance of sanctions against Russia for the infringement on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and sovereignty of the country.

The President of Ukraine invited representatives of the Jewish community of the United States to take part in the events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Babyn Yar tragedy planned for September 29 with participation of many foreign delegations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko invited American business to take part in the privatization in Ukraine.
