The United Nations stands against attacks on civilian infrastructure occurring during the war in Ukraine.
Stephane Dujarric, Spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, made such a statement at a briefing on Tuesday, April 2.
This is stated in the United Nations press release.
One of the journalists said that objects in russian Tatarstan were attacked, as he put it, with drones "with NATO equipment." He asked the UN Secretary General to comment on this event.
"I mean, we stand against and call for a halt to all attacks on civilian infrastructure," the Spokesman said.
From this, it can be understood that the Spokesman called russian military facilities, such as the Shahed-type strike drone factory, "civilian infrastructure."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 2, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced a drone attack on a russian factory for the assembly of strike drones of the Shahed type.
Besides, on April 2, Ukraine attacked one of the largest and newest refineries of the aggressor state of russia.
Ukrainian News Agency sources confirmed that the night explosions at the refinery in Tatarstan are the result of a joint operation of the SSU and the Defense Intelligence.
