Russia does not take ships to Black and Azov Seas. Navy reports on situation in water areas

As of 07:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, there are no russian warships in the Black and Azov Seas.

This was announced by the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"There are no enemy ships in the Black and Azov Seas; there is 1 enemy ship in the Mediterranean Sea - the carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, the total salvo is up to 8 missiles," the message says.

During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:

  • to the Sea of Azov - 18 vessels, of which 5 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait;
  • to the Black Sea - 9 vessels, of which 2 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of March 26, there were no russian warships in the Black and Azov Seas either.

On the night of March 24, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a missile attack on occupied Sevastopol.

As a result of the missile attack, the large amphibious ships "Yamal" and "Azov" were hit. Later it became known that the reconnaissance ship "Ivan Khurs" and "Konstantin Olshanskyi" also came under the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
