Cabinet building hit by russian Iskander missile with foreign components on September 7

On the night of September 7, the russian occupiers attacked the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a 9M727 Iskander cruise missile, which contained foreign components. However, the warhead of the missile did not work.

The Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy of Ukraine Vladyslav Vlasiuk has reported this.

"Indeed, the Government building was hit by an Iskander 9M727 (cruise), or rather, its part. Fuel was burning. The warhead did not work, previously due to the missile being damaged. All the exact answers will be provided," he said.

According to him, a similar "fresh" Iskander that was examined contains:

• about 35 components of American production,
• 1 – Japanese,
• 1 – British,
• 1 – Swiss,
• 5 – Belarusian,
• 57 – russian.

Vlasiuk specified that among the foreign manufacturers are Texas Instruments, Analog Devises and Altera (USA), College Electronics Ltd (UK), Fujitsu (Japan), Traco Power (Switzerland), JSC "Integral" (Belarus), JSC "Micron", JSC "Strela Production Association", JSC "Angstrem", JSC "Exciton Research and Design Bureau", "Karachevsky Plant "Electrodetal" (russia).

"Compared to the missiles of previous years, there are fewer components from Europe and the US, and more from Russia and Belarus. All information was provided to partners for sanctions response," he added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Defense Express previously wrote that during the russian night attack on September 7, the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was hit by a 9M727 cruise missile of the Iskander operational-tactical complex, not a Shahed drone. However, it did not explode, but only caused a fire. This is evidenced by the analysis of the fragments.

Recall that on the night of Sunday, September 7, (from 5:00 p.m. on September 6), the russian occupiers carried out a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine using strike UAVs and ground-based missiles.

In two districts of Kyiv, houses were destroyed due to the night attack, and fires broke out at the site of the strikes. In addition, as a result of a massive russian missile and drone attack in Kyiv, the building of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Pecherskyi District caught fire.
