Due to a massive russian missile and drone attack in Kyiv, the Cabinet of Ministers building in the Pecherskyi district caught fire, the fire spread to the upper floors. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko in Telegram.
"Yes, for the first time, the Government building, the roof and upper floors, were damaged due to an enemy attack. Rescuers are extinguishing the fire. Thanks for their work. We will restore the buildings. But we cannot bring back the lost lives. The enemy terrorizes and kills our people every day throughout the country," Svyrydenko said.

Rescuers have localized the fire with an area of over 1,000 square meters and continue to extinguish it. In total, about 400 rescuers of the State Emergency Service are currently working in the capital, almost 100 units of special equipment and fire helicopters are involved.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at night the russian federation massively attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones, significant destruction and fires were recorded.
In the Pecherskyi district of the capital, a fire broke out in a government building as a result of a russian missile attack and the destruction of a russian attack drone.
In two districts of Kyiv, houses were destroyed due to a night attack, fires broke out at the site of the strikes.
