On the night of Sunday, September 7, the russian occupiers massively attacked Ukraine with strike UAVs and drones, as a result of the strike in Kyiv, fires broke out in residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Telegram.
It is reported that in the Sviatoshynskyi district, a 9-story residential building was severely damaged - floors 4 to 8 were partially destroyed.
Also at 3:48 am, according to preliminary information, in the Sviatoshynskyi district, as a result of the UAV debris hitting a 16-story residential building, a fire broke out on the top floor. All services are heading to the scene. In addition, fires broke out in two more 9-story residential buildings as a result of the enemy attack. Cars near the service station and warehouses are burning.
In the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out on the 3rd and 4th floors of a 4-story building and the third floor was partially destroyed.
Fire and rescue units and medics are working on the scene. 11 people have been injured so far. Five of them have been hospitalized. The rest are being treated on the scene by medics.
According to medics, an elderly woman died in a shelter in the Darnytskyi district.
At 6 am, it became known that in the Sviatoshynskyi district, according to preliminary information, two people were killed - a young woman and a child under the age of 1.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at night the russian federation massively attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones, and significant destruction and fires were recorded.
In the Pecherskyi district of the capital, a fire broke out in a government building as a result of a russian missile attack and the destruction of a russian attack drone.
