US President Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg is likely to visit Ukraine in the coming days. This is reported by the Kyiv Post, citing two sources with whom their correspondent spoke.
As noted, Kellogg's visit is to take place before the deadline set by the US president for concluding a peace agreement with the aggressor country russia.
At the same time, another Trump envoy, Steve Witkoff, is to visit russia this week.
Trump confirmed Witkoff's trip on Thursday, July 31. "Yes, he's going to Israel, and then to Russia, believe it or not," he told reporters at the time.
The publication recalls that the deadline set by Donald Trump for concluding a truce between russia and Ukraine expires on August 8. On July 14, he gave vladimir putin 50 days, but last week he shortened the deadline, expressing disappointment in the president of the aggressor country.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, US President Donald Trump said that special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, would likely visit russia on Wednesday or Thursday at moscow's request.
