Trump threatens russia with "tough tariffs" if there is no peace deal with Ukraine in 50 days

US President Donald Trump said he is unhappy with the behavior of the aggressor country of russia and is ready to introduce tough economic measures if an agreement is not reached to end the war in Ukraine in 50 days. He said this during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Reuters reports.

"One of the reasons you are here today is to hear that we are very unhappy, I am unhappy with russia. But we will talk about that, perhaps another time. But we are very, very unhappy with them and we will introduce very tough tariffs if there is no deal in 50 days," Trump said.

He also added that trade is "great for resolving wars."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 8, US President Donald Trump said that he had made a decision to transfer defensive weapons to Ukraine against the backdrop of the actions of the aggressor country of russia.
