US President Donald Trump said that Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff will probably visit russia on Wednesday or Thursday at the request of moscow.
He said this while talking to reporters in New Jersey.
"He may be going, I think next week, Wednesday or Thursday, maybe going to Russia. They would like to see him. They've asked that he meet. So we'll see what happens," Trump said.
Trump also reiterated that the war of the aggressor state russia against Ukraine is taking many lives.
"We stopped a lot of countries from war. India and Pakistan, we stopped a lot of countries. And we're going to get that one stopped, too, somehow we're going to get that one stopped," Trump said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Trump previously announced that Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff is planning a visit to the aggressor state russia, without specifying details and timing.
Meanwhile, the Administration of US President Donald Trump made a statement regarding Ukraine, which came as a surprise given the White House's previous cautious rhetoric.
