The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the NSDC Andrii Kovalenko said that on the night of July 25, drones hit two russian factories that are important for the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state. These are the Nevinnomyssk Nitrogen Plant and the Kotovsky Gunpowder Plant.
He wrote about this in Telegram.
"Drones tonight hit two important facilities of the military-industrial complex of russia," the message says.
The Nevinnomyssk Nitrogen Plant in the Stavropol Krai was hit, which is a manufacturer of chemical raw materials for explosives, in particular nitric acid and ammonium nitrate.
"This is a key supplier for the production of ammunition, including artillery shells, air bombs and MLRS," the head of the CCD emphasized.
And also the Kotovsky Gunpowder Plant in the Tambov Oblast is one of the oldest and strategically important enterprises of the russian military-industrial complex. The plant specializes in the production of a wide range of gunpowders: for small arms, artillery, MLRS, aviation and missile systems. Its products are used by dozens of defense enterprises.
"In fact, neither the Grad nor the Smerch can fire without Kotovsk," Kovalenko said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 23, it became known that the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked Novocherkassk in the Rostov Oblast of the aggressor country, russia, hitting a railway junction. It was used for the needs of the russian army and the military-industrial complex.
Meanwhile, on the night of July 11, drones attacked the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant, located in the Moscow Oblast. It produces and modernizes MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters, as well as develops new models of combat aircraft.
In addition, on July 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the city of Sergiyev Posad in the Moscow Oblast. The enterprise that produces combat units for Shahed drones was under attack.
