On July 4, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the production of warheads for Shahed drones at the Federal Research and Production Center "Scientific Research Institute of Applied Chemistry" (FNPC Scientific Research Institute of Applied Chemistry) JSC (Sergiev Posad, moscow oblast of the russian federation).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The General Staff notes that this enterprise, in particular, produces thermobaric warheads for Shahed drones, and is an important link in russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.
"The achievement of our means of destruction directly to the target has been confirmed. "A fire and heavy smoke were recorded in the area of the facility," the report says.
It is noted that the results of the hit are being clarified.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council informed that on the night of July 4, facilities were attacked in the Rostov and moscow oblasts, including the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of Thursday, July 3, SSU drones hit ammunition depots of the russian army in the village of Velyke Orikhove near Khartsyzk in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk Region.
