On July 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant in the Moscow Oblast of the russian federation, which produced MiG fighters and also developed models of new russian combat aircraft. This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) Andrii Kovalenko in Telegram.
"The Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant in the Moscow Oblast was under attack. It specializes in the production and modernization of MiG-29, MiG-31 fighters and their modifications, and also participates in the development of new models of combat aircraft, in particular, projects of a "promising front-line fighter" based on the MiG platform," the CCD report says.
It is also noted that this plant is also involved in the modernization cycle of Shahed and Geran UAVs.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 1, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of a military-industrial complex facility - the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol, located in the Udmurt Republic of the russian federation.
