In Rostov Oblast, "logistical artery" of invaders' army was hit - CCD

The Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked Novocherkassk, Rostov Oblast, the aggressor country of russia, hitting a railway junction. It was used for the needs of the russian army and the military-industrial complex.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalenko, reported this today, July 23.

Kovalenko noted that the railway junction in Novocherkassk connects strategic directions leading to Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, Volgograd and Kamiansk-Shakhtinsky.

He also emphasized that the invaders transport personnel, equipment, ammunition and fuel and lubricants via Novocherkassk by rail.

In addition, the activities of logistics units of the 1061st Logistics Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation were recorded in Novocherkassk. This structure is responsible for the distribution of weapons and ammunition.

Earlier today, the acting governor of the Rostov Oblast, Yuriy Slyusar, reported that the region had been attacked by drones.

"At night, the enemy used UAVs to attack Novocherkassk, Shakhty, Myasnykovskiy, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky and Aksai districts," Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, three people were injured in Novocherkassk as a result of the drone attack.

According to the russian publication ASTRA, residents of Novocherkassk published photos and videos of the UAV attack last night.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of July 11, drones attacked the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant, located in the Moscow Oblast. It produces and modernizes MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters, and also develops new models of combat aircraft.

As a reminder, on July 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the city of Sergiyev Posad in the Moscow Oblast. An enterprise that produces combat units for Shahed drones was under attack.
