There will be attacks with 1,000 drones or more — Unmanned Systems Forces commander Madyar

The commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Robert Brovdi (call sign Madyar), stated that in the future the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, will launch a thousand attack drones into Ukraine every day.

Brovdi reported this on his official Telegram channel on Friday, July 4.

"There will be 1,000 units per day or more," Brovdi wrote.

He added that he was not trying to scare anyone.

Brovdi also clarified that the figures they announced were based on the analysis of intelligence data.

Let us recall that today, July 4, the occupation army carried out one of the largest air attacks on Ukraine.

The Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions were under attack. The main strike was aimed at Kyiv.

During the attack, the russians used more than 550 airstrikes. More than half of them were Shahed strike UAVs.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in May of this year, The Economist wrote, citing Ukrainian intelligence sources and experts, that the russian army is preparing to launch a thousand drones over Ukraine every day.

Recall, on May 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that russia is not yet able to carry out such attacks.

And in early June, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is developing interceptor drones to protect energy system facilities from attacks by UAVs of the invaders.
