Night shelling damages railway infrastructure in Kyiv and region — Ukrzaliznytsia promises quick restoration

On the night of June 17, a russian attack damaged railway infrastructure in Kyiv and the region. In particular, a grain truck carrying Ukrainian grain was damaged.

Ukrzaliznytsia has reported this.

"Kyiv, this morning. Ukrainian railways, Ukrainian grain. The enemy continues to destroy everything Ukrainian. However, there is no chance. Everything will be restored quickly, there will be no impact on train traffic," said Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, the chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 17, Kyiv suffered one of the largest attacks since the start of the full-scale invasion. Russian troops launched a combined strike with kamikaze drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, focusing strikes on residential areas.
