Russian dictator vladimir putin said that the aggressor country russia agrees to a 30-day ceasefire, but the issues of monitoring its observance remain unclear.
He said this at a press conference with the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in moscow on Thursday, March 13.
According to putin, russia agrees with the proposals to stop fighting in Ukraine, but "the cessation must be such that it would lead to long-term peace and eliminate the initial causes of this crisis." The russian dictator said that it is very difficult to monitor the ceasefire on the 2,000-kilometer contact line. In addition, putin said that all issues require "a careful study of this ceasefire."
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 11, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine accepts the US proposal to establish a complete ceasefire, not only regarding missiles, drones and bombs, not only in the Black Sea, but also along the entire front line.
On March 11, the Office of the President emphasized that, following the talks in Saudi Arabia, the US decided to resume intelligence sharing and military assistance to Ukraine.
On March 13, an aide to the russian dictator, Yuri Ushakov, said that russia does not want a temporary ceasefire.
