Following the results of negotiations in Saudi Arabia, the US has decided to resume intelligence sharing and military aid to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Office of the President.
"The United States immediately lifts the pause in intelligence sharing and resumes security aid to Ukraine," the statement said.
The Ukrainian and US delegations also discussed the importance of humanitarian efforts as part of the peace process, in particular during the ceasefire, including the exchange of prisoners of war, the release of detained civilians, and the return of forcibly displaced Ukrainian children.
"Both delegations agreed to determine the composition of their negotiating teams and immediately begin negotiations to achieve a sustainable peace that will ensure the long-term security of Ukraine," the President's Office added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 11, Yermak announced the arrival of a Ukrainian delegation to Saudi Arabia for talks between Ukraine and the US.
In addition, Ukraine expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal for the immediate implementation of a 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual consent of the parties and upon acceptance and implementation by the russian side.
