Kremlin says russia does not want temporary ceasefire

Russian dictator vladimir putin's aide Yuri Ushakov has said that russia does not want a temporary ceasefire with Ukraine, calling it a "simulation of peaceful actions".

He told a russian propaganda TV channel, according to russian media.

Thus, Ushakov claims that russia's goal is supposedly "a long-term peaceful settlement that takes into account the interests of the aggressor state.

"I think that no one needs any steps that imitate peaceful actions in this situation," he said.

According to him, he expressed this position during a conversation with US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

He commented on the agreements reached on a temporary ceasefire, calling them "nothing more than a temporary respite for the Ukrainian military."

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the meantime, the aggressor state russia presented the US with a list of its demands for concluding an agreement to end the war against Ukraine and reset relations with Washington after three weeks of discussions.

On March 11, negotiations between Ukraine and the US took place in Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian side expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal to introduce a 30-day ceasefire.
