US President Donald Trump said he is going to hold talks with the president of the aggressor country, russia, this week.
His words were quoted by Reuters on Tuesday, March 11.
Trump noted that he will have a conversation with putin, but "it takes two to tango." According to him, talks with the russian dictator could take place as early as this week.
"I hope he will also agree, and that will be 75% of the way. In the future, it is about getting a document and negotiations, territories, positions and so on," the US President said.
Trump also said that he hopes for a complete ceasefire in the coming days.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 11, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that the US would resume the transfer of intelligence to Ukraine.
