The "easy walk", which grew into a long-term confrontation with Ukraine, turned into colossal losses for the russian army in both personnel and military equipment.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 720,000 soldiers of the russian army have been killed and wounded.

Several thousand more invaders were captured. Some of them were exchanged, some are held in camps on the territory of Ukraine.

The occupiers began to suffer the greatest monthly losses in May 2024. Since then, the russians have been losing more than a thousand of their soldiers every day.

The greatest losses of the russians in personnel occurred in October 2024. This month they lost 41,980 people killed and wounded.

  • multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) - 1,252;

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the russian army has lost two such aircraft. The first was shot down over the Sea of ​​Azov on January 14, 2024, and the second over the Krasnodar Krai on February 23, 2024.

The third place on the list of the most expensive losses is occupied by the submarine B-237 "Rostov-on-Don". Its estimated cost is USD 300 million.

It was hit by the Ukrainian army on August 2, 2024 in the port of occupied Sevastopol, where the boat was undergoing repairs.

No less expensive for the russians is the loss of several electronic warfare (EW) complexes RB-301B "Borisoglebsk-2", the cost of one is about USD 200 million.

This is a new EW complex for the russian army, the first deliveries to the army took place in 2013.

According to military and media information, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russians have lost at least six such EW complexes. One of them was captured by the Ukrainian military.

Another expensive loss for the russians was the Il-76 military transport aircraft, which was shot down by the Ukrainian military on February 26, 2022 in the Kyiv Region. The cost of such an aircraft is USD 86 million.

The russian occupation army continues to suffer losses in Ukraine. In the past 24 hours alone, 1,560 occupiers were eliminated, and 403 units of equipment were destroyed.
