On the night of November 6, the air raid alert was announced three times in the Kyiv Region due to an attack by enemy UAVs.
The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, announced this.
The authorities called on the residents of the region not to ignore air raid alerts.
"At night, the enemy once again attacked the Kyiv Region with UAVs. The air raid alert was announced three times. Air defense worked in the region. Enemy targets are shot down. There are no victims among the population. Critical and residential infrastructure objects were not hit," Kravchenko said.
The head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration added that in one of the districts, as a result of falling fragments of downed enemy targets, a fire broke out in the forest floor. Operational services continue to work on fixing the consequences of the enemy attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, from 5:30 p.m. on November 2 and during the night of November 3, the russian army attacked Ukraine with 96 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unspecified drones, as well as a Kh-59/69 missile. Air defense forces destroyed the missile and 66 drones, another 27 enemy UAVs were lost in location, 1 flew to Belarus. As of 09:00 a.m., 2 russian drones remained in the air.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in October, russia launched 2,023 Shahed attack drones and drones of an unspecified type into Ukraine.
At the same time, British intelligence said that the aggressor state RUSSIA attacked Ukraine in September with a record number of kamikaze drones - 1,300 drones. The intelligence predicted that russia would exceed this number in October.
