Air defense forces destroy 66 UAVs and Kh-59/69 missile at night

From the evening and during the night of November 3, the russian army attacked Ukraine with 96 Shahed-type attack UAVs and drones of an unspecified type, as well as the Kh-59/69 missile. Air defense forces destroyed a missile and 66 drones, another 27 enemy UAVs were lost in location, 1 flew to Belarus. As of 09:00 a.m., 2 russian drones remained in the air.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thus, from 5:30 p.m. on November 2 and during the night of November 3, the enemy attacked with a Kh-59/69 guided air missile from the airspace of the Kursk Oblast, 96 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF.

It is indicated that this air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Air Force, as of 09:00 a.m., the downing of the Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 66 enemy UAVs was confirmed in the following regions:

• Kyiv,
• Sumy,
• Khmelnytskyi,
• Zhytomyr,
• Cherkasy,
• Chernihiv,
• Kirovohrad,
• Poltava,
• Dnipropetrovsk,
• Kharkiv.

"27 enemy drones were lost in location, 1 UAV flew to Belarus. Two strike UAVs are in the air." - added in the department.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, an air alert was announced in the Chernihiv Region in the evening and during the night of November 3, and the russian occupiers launched drones. The wreckage of Shaheds hit an apartment building in the Chernihiv Region, and dry grass was also on fire.
