Russia launches 2,023 attack drones over Ukraine in October

In October, russia launched 2,023 Shahed attack drones and unspecified drones over Ukraine.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, November 1.

"Of them, 1,185 were destroyed/suppressed by Ukrainian defenders, 738 units were lost in location, and another 29 UAVs left the controlled airspace of our state," the message reads.

Also, since the beginning of 2024, the enemy has launched 6,987 attack UAVs over the territory of Ukraine. Mostly, enemy drones targeted civilian and critical infrastructure of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, an air alert was announced in Kyiv at night due to a drone attack on the capital.

On the night of October 31, the Air Defense Forces shot down 2 guided aerial missiles and 17 drones.
