Ukraine offers the USA and the European Union to jointly protect and use strategic valuable resources in Ukraine.
Zelenskyy said this while presenting the Victory Plan in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, according to him, the fourth point of the plan is strategic economic potential.
The President noted that natural resources are concentrated in Ukraine, and in particular, critical metals worth trillions of US dollars, in particular, uranium, titanium, lithium, graphite, which will strengthen either russia and its allies, or Ukraine and the democratic world in global competition.
He emphasized that critical resource deposits in Ukraine, along with Ukraine's globally important potential in energy and food production, are among russia's key aggressor goals in this war.
"Ukraine offers the United States together with certain partners, in particular the European Union, of which Ukraine will be a part, and with other partners in the world who are our partners, to conclude a special agreement on the joint protection of critical resources available in Ukraine, joint investment and then the use of appropriate economic potential," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that the economic point of the plan has a secret appendix, which is given only to certain partners.
According to him, this is an agreement that will organically complement and strengthen the existing system of economic pressure on russia, namely, all existing sanctions against the russian federation, oil price restrictions, restrictions on exports to russia and other pressure measures.
"Russia's partners in the world must realize, know, see that this regime has no economic future," he emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday, October 16, Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan for Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada.
The first point of the plan envisages inviting Ukraine to NATO now.
The second point of the plan is defense, it provides for the irreversible strengthening of Ukrainian defense against the aggressor and the continuation of the operations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the russian federation to prevent buffer zones in Ukraine, the lifting of restrictions on the use of long-range weapons provided by Western partners on the territory of russia, as well as the participation of neighboring European countries in downing of russian missiles and drones.
In addition, Ukraine offers its Western partners to deploy a comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package on its territory.
