President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Victory Plan envisages the lifting of restrictions on Ukraine's use of long-range weapons provided by its Western partners on the territory of russia, as well as the participation of neighboring European countries in shooting down russian missiles and drones.
Zelenskyy said this while presenting the Victory Plan in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Bringing Ukraine's air defense to a level that is sufficient to protect our cities and villages from russian missiles and enemy drones, and joint defensive operations with our neighbors in Europe to shoot down russian missiles and drones within the reach of the partners' air shield," he said.
The plan also provides for expanding operations using Ukrainian missiles and drones and investing in expanding their production in Ukraine.
"Partners' removal of restrictions on the use of long-range weapons on the entire territory of Ukraine occupied by russia and on the territory of russia on the objects of the enemy's military infrastructure, and providing Ukraine with the appropriate long-range capabilities - missiles, drones and other means of destruction," the President noted.
The plan also envisages providing Ukraine with real-time satellite data and data obtained by other means of intelligence.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday, October 16, Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan for Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada.
The first point of the plan envisages inviting Ukraine to NATO now.
The second point of the plan is defense, it provides for the irreversible strengthening of Ukrainian defense against the aggressor and the continuation of the operations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the russian federation in order to prevent buffer zones in Ukraine.
