After Putin and Xi Jinping, Orbán going to meet with Trump

Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán is going to go to the United States to meet with the U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump.

This is reported by Bloomberg with reference to its sources.

The meeting is to take place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. It is claimed that it will be an informal meeting and that Trump has not asked Orbán to negotiate some sort of peace deal between Trump and russian dictator vladimir putin.

However, this visit adds to fears that Orbán may be an intermediary between the U.S. presidential candidate and the head of the russian federation.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 2 Viktor Orbán came to Kyiv to meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He called for a "pause" in the war and a "cease fire."

After Kyiv, Orbán went to moscow and met with the russian dictator. At the same time, the EU denied that Orbán has any authority to conduct "peace negotiations".

However, Orbán did not stop at the kremlin and went to China, where he met with the country's leader, Xi Jinping. Putin's longtime ally and opponent of the Ukrainian "peace formula" also spoke with Orbán about a "quick ceasefire" on the fronts of the Ukrainian-russian war.
