US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink reacted to russia's new attack on Ukraine with missiles and attack drones. In particular, she emphasized the need to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance as soon as possible against the backdrop of massive russian strikes.
She wrote about it on Twitter (X).
"Throughout the night, russia mercilessly launched missiles and drones against Ukraine's energy infrastructure... Russia's barbaric efforts to deprive millions of men, women and children of electricity continue unchecked. Our aid is needed now," she emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, March 29, the russian invaders hit energy facilities again during a massive combined attack. Currently, emergency shutdowns are applied in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, and hourly shutdowns are in place in the Kharkiv Region. The defenders of the sky neutralized 84 air targets out of 99.
Previously, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Illia Yevlash, explained that the russian occupiers' reduction of the intervals between mass missile attacks on Ukraine is related to the enemy's constant change in tactics and its efforts to find weak gaps in Ukrainian air defense.
