Enemy conducted powerful aerial reconnaissance before massive attack on power system - Humeniuk

Before the massive night attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, the russian occupiers conducted "very powerful aerial reconnaissance".

This was reported by the spokeswoman of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Nataliya Humeniuk on the air of the telethon.

According to her, 140 russian reconnaissance drones were counted in the south alone.

Humeniuk emphasized the need for a greater number of EW means.

"We need EW, because an ignorant enemy cannot target, cannot carry out massive attacks," she said.

Humeniuk also said that the russians themselves highly appreciate the use of electronic warfare by Ukrainian fighters. In particular, they spread relevant messages in their Telegram channels, stating that it is because of the work of electronic warfare that it is more difficult to hit the "necessary" targets.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, overnight into Friday, March 29, russian invaders hit energy facilities again during a massive combined attack. Currently, emergency shutdowns are applied in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, and hourly shutdowns are in place in the Kharkiv Region.

In particular, russia attacked three Ukrainian TPPs. They were damaged, an employee was injured.

In general, on the night of March 29, the enemy launched a powerful missile and air strike against the facilities of the fuel and energy sector of Ukraine, using various types of missiles and attack UAVs. The defenders of the sky neutralized 84 air targets out of 99.
