An oil depot caught fire in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, its authorities blame unknown UAV

On Thursday, May 4, a tank of an oil refinery caught fire in the Russian village of Ilskoe in the Krasnodar Krai, Russian Federation.

This follows from a statement by the Russian propaganda media TASS.

According to emergency services, the cause of the fire was an attack by an unknown drone.

"Due to an attack by an unknown drone, the reservoir of the Ilskoe Refinery is on fire in the urban-type settlement of Ilskoe in the Siverskyi District," said the interlocutor of the agency.

The Russian publication BAZA writes that according to eyewitnesses, the fire started at approximately 2:40 a.m., and three explosions allegedly preceded it.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the morning of April 29, a fuel tank caught fire in the Kozacha Bukhta micro-district in Sevastopol, temporarily occupied by the ruscists. The "governor" of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev hastened to declare that the cause of the fire was a UAV hit.

The Defense Ministry commented on the explosions at the oil depot in Sevastopol. According to Andrii Yusov, representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, at least ten fuel tanks with a capacity of 40,000 tons were destroyed in Sevastopol due to the explosion.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, an oil depot was on fire in the village of Volna in the Krasnodar Krai of the aggressor country Russia, not far from the Crimean bridge.
