The driver of the truck crane, who collided with the train, died on the way to hospital. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"Due to traffic violations, this accident has already claimed two lives. We ask everyone to follow the rules at railway crossings! Any "I still have time" or "I'll manage to get in front of the train". A crossing is not a place for experiments. Respect the lives of other people," the Ukrzaliznytsia added.
What have happened?
On May 1, in the Lviv Region, a truck crane driver drove to a railway crossing, despite prohibitory signals, and collided with a train. The train driver was killed on the spot. The driver's assistant is in hospital with serious injuries. The passengers were not injured.
The deceased driver is a veteran who returned from the front and started working again.
