The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the successful fire damage to a number of important enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, on the night of April 8, the Defense Forces attacked oil depots in Feodosia and Hvardiiske. It was reported by the press service of the department.
The russian occupiers stored fuel and lubricants at both facilities to meet the needs of their troops; according to the military, a fire broke out in Feodosia as a result of the strike.
In addition to fuel bases in Crimea, Ukrainian defenders struck at russian army logistics depots near Svitle in the Zaporizhzhia Region, Sukhodilsk in the Luhansk Region and Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk Region. A field artillery depot near Yalta in the Donetsk Region, a UAV depot near Stepne and an ammunition depot in the area of Uralo-Kavkaz in the Luhansk Region were also hit.
An electronic intelligence station near Novoozerne and the positioning area of the Bastion coastal missile system near occupied Sofiivka in Crimea were also targeted by the Defense Forces. The russian army's losses as a result of the operations are currently being clarified. Earlier it also became known that the Defense Intelligence's special forces disabled the last russian rail ferry in the Kerch Strait.
On the night of April 4, drones attacked the russian city of Togliatti in the Samara Oblast of russia, according to public reports, two chemical plants were hit and fires broke out.
Also, on the night of April 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the Lukoil-Novgorodnefteorgsintez refinery in Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast). As a result, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise.
