Social networks reported that on the night of April 4, drones attacked the russian city of Tolyatti, Samara Oblast of russia, according to publics, two chemical plants were hit, fires broke out.

Initially, Astra, citing local residents, reported that a plant was on fire in Tolyatti. Telegram channels reported numerous hits in the russian city and the damage to "several facilities".

Later, Astra noted that it had geolocalized the places of hits.

Thus, the russian public reported that after the attack, areas near two chemical plants - Tolyattikauchuk and KuibyshevAzot - are burning in Tolyatti. Rosaviatsiya reported that the Samara airport has been suspended.

"On the night of April 4, residents of Tolyatti, Samara Oblast, reported a large number of explosions and a fire. According to the analysis of eyewitness footage, the fire broke out in the area of ​​two chemical enterprises located not far from each other - Tolyattikauchuk and KuibyshevAzot," Astra website contributors noted.

According to the KuibyshevAzot website, this is one of the leading russian chemical companies, a leader in the production of caprolactam and its processing products, which is one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers in the russian federation.

Tolyattikauchuk is a petrochemical enterprise that produces synthetic rubber and chemical components used in the production of tires and rubber products.
