On the night of April 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery, an aircraft depot and other enemy targets. It was reported by the General Staff on its Telegram channel.
Attack on the refinery
The infrastructure of the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery (Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast) was damaged. As a result, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise.
It is noted that the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez occupies a strategic position in the russian oil refining industry, in particular, providing fuel to the critically important moscow Oblast (almost 30% of total russian gasoline consumption) and the russian army. The production capacity of the facility reaches 17 million tons of raw materials per year.
The company's product range includes more than 50 types of products, including aviation and diesel fuel, which is directly supplied to the needs of the russian military-industrial complex and the occupation contingent. The scale of the damage is being clarified.
Port and aircraft storage warehouse
A fire has also been confirmed as a result of damage to the infrastructure of the strategically important port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea. This is one of the largest ports in russia involved in the transportation of oil products.
An aircraft storage warehouse (Saky, TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) was also hit.
Ukrainian troops also fired on enemy manpower concentrations near Berezove and Novomykolaivka in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia Region and Yalynske in the Donetsk Region. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
As a reminder, the Defense Forces destroyed over 150,000 enemy targets in March.
