Ukraine continues to ignore calls from foreign partners to stop attacks on russian energy facilities, despite fears of a deepening global oil and gas crisis. This is reported by the British newspaper The Telegraph.

The next escalation occurred against the backdrop of instability in the Middle East, in particular due to the war in Iran, which has already caused a shortage of resources on the world market.

In particular, on the night of April 5, Ukrainian forces struck an oil pipeline in the port of Primorsk near St. Petersburg and the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. Western officials have repeatedly warned against such actions, arguing that this is due to a possible uncontrolled increase in fuel prices. However, Kyiv continues to implement its strategy, using domestically produced weapons for attacks.

The author of the material emphasizes that despite ignoring political calls for restraint, Ukraine still cooperates closely with allies in technical terms. Intelligence provided by partners, in particular the United States, is used to plan and prepare strikes. Thus, Ukraine demonstrates its readiness to independently determine priority targets to weaken the aggressor's economic potential, even if this causes concern on global energy markets.
