The Prosecutor General's Office has requested Israel to extradite businessman Timur Mindich to Ukraine. The spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office, Mariana Haiovska-Kovbasiuk, reported this in a comment to Ukrinform on Tuesday, March 31.

The spokeswoman noted that during the processing of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau's request for Mindich's extradition to Ukraine, procedural and technical shortcomings were identified.

"In a working order, the Prosecutor General's Office, together with the NABU, processed and completed 24 volumes of materials, as well as prepared and translated the text of the request. After the final elimination of deficiencies and errors, the extradition request was sent to the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel," said Haiovska-Kovbasiuk.

Recall that on November 10, NABU detectives came with searches to the businessman, co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio Timur Mindich, Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Energoatom.
