The government's main task remains to stabilize energy supply and restore damaged facilities. Despite the difficulties, Ukraine has established stable imports of electricity and gas from abroad. Yuliia Svyrydenko has reported this after a meeting with the heads of regional military administrations.

"The situation remains difficult. The government is attracting all the necessary resources. In addition to internal reserves, stable imports of gas and electricity are ensured," she said.

Aside from technical issues, the authorities focused on social assistance. By the end of the week, 100,000 residents of the frontline Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Kherson Regions will receive targeted "heat packages."

Together with the state-owned heating companies, the government is working to ensure that the heating system is functioning properly.

"Together with state-owned companies, we are providing targeted assistance to people with disabilities and single pensioners. By the end of the week, 100,000 people will receive heat packages," the official summarized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian attacks left residents in the Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions without electricity.

Yesterday, residents of the Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava and 3 other regions were left without electricity due to a massive attack.
