Due to massive attack, residents of Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava and 3 other regions left without electricity

As a result of the russian massive attack on the energy sector, as well as due to shelling along the front line, consumers in the Odesa, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Poltava Regions were left without electricity as of this morning. This was reported by the press service of Ukrnergo.

"Emergency restoration work has already begun wherever the security situation allows. Power engineers are doing everything possible to return the equipment damaged by the enemy to operation as soon as possible," the report says.

On February 22, consumption restriction measures are traditionally applied in most regions of Ukraine: power restriction schedules for industry and hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers.

"In the regions where outage schedules are in effect, there is still a need for economical energy consumption. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances. Do not turn on several devices at the same time and, if possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to night time - after 11:00 pm," the energy experts added.
