On Wednesday, February 18, the second day of talks involving Ukraine, the US and the aggressor state of russia on ending the russian-Ukrainian war began in Geneva (Switzerland).
This was announced by the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The second day of trilateral talks has begun in Geneva. Consultations are taking place in groups by direction within the political and military blocs," he wrote.
Umerov added that work is ongoing to clarify the parameters and mechanics of the solutions that were discussed on February 17.
"We are focused on substantive work. We will inform you about the results later," he added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a new round of talks between Ukraine and the russian federation took place in Geneva on February 17 with the mediation of the US.
Umerov said the parties intend to discuss security and humanitarian issues.
US President Donald Trump's special representative, Steve Witkoff, reported significant progress after the first day of trilateral talks.
