The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed 5 deputy defense ministers. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The following were dismissed: Anatolii Klochko, Oleksandr Kozenko, Mykola Shevtsov, Volodymyr Zaverukha and Hanna Hvozdiar.

"This is a step towards renewing the ministry to fulfill the President's task - to build a system that can stop the enemy in the sky, advance on the ground, strengthen asymmetric and cyber strikes against the enemy and its economy," Fedorov said.

He thanked the dismissed deputies for their contribution to the development of the Ministry of Defense, implemented projects and completed tasks, and noted that some of them will continue to work in the Defense Ministry team in other areas as advisers or heads of project offices.
