The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Anatolii Kutsevol and Valentyna Moskalenko as Deputy Ministers of Energy. This is stated in orders No. 36 and No. 35 of January 19, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, Kutsevol was appointed Deputy Minister of Energy for European Integration.

Previously, Kutsevol held the position of Deputy Minister of Defense for European Integration since October 2025.
In 2023-2025, he was Ambassador to Latvia, before that he held the position of Deputy State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers since October 2020.
In 2021-2025, Moskalenko headed the expert team on the transformation of coal regions within the framework of the GIZ Power4JustTransition project.

In 2020–2025, she also worked as an advisor to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on regional development, transformation of coal regions, and implementation of infrastructure and construction projects.
In February-May 2020, she was the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Deputy Minister of Energy Anatolii Korzun and Deputy Minister of Energy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization Roman Andarak.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 14, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Denys Shmyhal to the position of First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Energy.
50-year-old Shmyhal has held the position of Minister of Defense since July 2025, and from March 4, 2020 to July 16, 2025, he was Prime Minister.
