Donald Trump may remain the chairman of his proposed "Board of Peace" even after the end of his presidential term. This possibility is being considered as part of the formation of a new US diplomatic initiative.

It was reported by Bloomberg with reference to an unnamed American official.

"President Donald Trump could still lead his proposed Board of Peace after he leaves the White House, a US official said, as the chairmanship is Trump's to hold until he resigns it," it was said.

According to the source of the publication, the future US president will also have the right to appoint or nominate an official representative of the United States to the board of directors of this structure.

According to Bloomberg, Trump's potentially lifelong tenure as chairman of the Board of Peace is another controversial point in the creation of a large-scale diplomatic initiative. This aspect is already causing concern and resistance from some leaders of the G7 countries.

Trump has confirmed that russian dictator vladimir putin has been invited to Trump's "Board of Peace" for Gaza. Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban was also invited to the Board of Peace.
