Tymoshenko managed to delete correspondence on one of her phones

Suspected of bribing MPs for the necessary votes, the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Yulia Tymoshenko, deleted correspondence on one of the seized mobile phones.

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) said this in court, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the investigation, Tymoshenko used conspiracy measures and communicated via the "Signal" messenger in a closed chat, where she allegedly gave instructions to MPs on how to vote.

The SAPO prosecutor said that the investigation recorded that deleted messages were found on one of the mobile phones.

Also, according to the prosecutor, Tymoshenko used one of the phones exclusively for communicating with one of the MPs for criminal activity.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) has published records in the case of bribing MPs: Tymoshenko, according to the investigation, coordinated voting and personnel decisions. Yulia Tymoshenko reacted to the searches in the party office of the political force and called it political pressure. NABU and SAPO caught the head of one of the parliamentary factions in the Verkhovna Rada giving bribes for voting. 6 mobile phones were seized from the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of bribing MPs.
