6 mobile phones were seized from the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of bribing MPs.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) prosecutor said this at a court hearing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the court hearing, the prosecutor stated that Tymoshenko used conspiracy measures, in particular, used equipment to detect wiretapping. According to the prosecutor, Tymoshenko agreed with the MPs about the necessary votes via the Signal messenger.

The prosecutor noted that during searches in the Batkivshchyna party office, a total of six mobile phones were seized. Only the Signal messenger was installed on one of them.

According to the investigation, it was through this messenger in a closed chat that Tymoshenko allegedly gave instructions to MPs on how to vote.

The prosecutor also stated that the investigation recorded attempts at conspiracy, in particular, deleted messages were found in one of the phones.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Tymoshenko accused the MPs from the Servant of the People Kopytin of testifying against her and working for the NABU. NABU published records in the case of bribery of deputies: Tymoshenko, according to the investigation, coordinated voting and personnel decisions. Yulia Tymoshenko reacted to the searches in the party office of the political force and called it political pressure. NABU and SAPO caught the head of one of the parliamentary factions in the Verkhovna Rada giving bribes for voting.
