Part of Kyiv without heating and hot water after shelling

After russia's massive attack on Kyiv on the night of January 9, several districts of the city experienced interruptions in the supply of heat and hot water due to damage to critical infrastructure. It was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

"Currently, there is no heating or it is supplied at reduced parameters in the Desnianskyi, Pecherskyi Districts, in parts of the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi Districts," the statement said.

It is noted that power engineers together with housing organizations are working in an emergency mode.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 9, russian troops attacked Kyiv using drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Damage and destruction were recorded in different parts of the city. As of the morning, four people were killed and 24 wounded. One medical worker is among the dead, four more medics were wounded.

Zelenskyy warned of the possibility of massive shelling by the russian federation on the night of January 9.

The US Embassy also warned of the threat of a massive russian air attack on Ukraine.
