Shmyhal summarizes results of Ramstein: 15 countries announced commitments to help Ukraine

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that 15 countries announced specific commitments to help Ukraine during the Ramstein meeting.

He informed about this on Facebook.

"In 2025, the partners have committed to allocate almost USD 5 billion for Ukrainian defense production and about USD 5 billion more for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine. Both figures were record-breaking, and we are committed to maintaining this momentum in 2026," the statement said.

In particular, within the framework of the Ramstein meeting, Ukraine received commitments from partners for long-term support for Ukraine:

Germany: EUR 11.5 billion  in 2026 to support Ukraine's defense. The focus is on air defense, UAVs, and artillery. In addition, Ukraine has already received new Patriot and IRIS-T systems.

The United Kingdom: strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities for the amount of GBP 600 million at the expense of frozen russian assets, partner funds, and its own budget in 2025.

Canada: additional CAD 30 million for Ukrainian drones, AIM-9 missiles, electro-optical sensors and other military assistance.

The Netherlands: EUR 700 million for UAVs, including EUR 400 million for Ukrainian-made products.

Montenegro: is preparing a contribution to PURL and the NSATU fund in support of Ukraine.

Denmark: new contribution to the PURL with a focus on Ukraine's aviation capabilities, transfer of the 29th support package worth EUR 250 million - drones, air defense and support for Ukrainian aviation.

Estonia: continuation of support at the level of at least 0.25% of GDP (EUR 142 million), including a contribution to the IT Coalition of EUR 9 million.

Latvia: continued support at the level of at least 0.25% of GDP (EUR 110 million) - focus on UAVs, EW, PURL.

Lithuania: over EUR 220 million in 2026 for military support to Ukraine at a level of at least 0.25% of GDP, including contributions to PURL, the Patriot program for Ukraine, the Czech Initiative, and the mine action coalition.

Luxembourg: EUR 100 million in 2026 to support Ukraine, second contribution of EUR 15 million to PURL.

New Zealand: USD 15 million to PURL.

Norway: about USD 7 billion in total military assistance in 2026, contributions to support US air defense systems and the Czech Initiative.

Poland: supplies of 155-mm shells, implementation of joint projects with Ukraine within the framework of SAFE.

Portugal: contribution to the Czech Initiative, EUR 10 million for UAVs.

Czech Republic: as part of the Czech Initiative, the supply of 760,000 artillery shells has already been financed for 2026.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Dutch government has accelerated the process of allocating EUR 700 million for Ukraine. Part of these funds will be used to purchase ammunition for Ukrainian F-16 fighters.

On December 9, the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces said that Warsaw would negotiate with Kyiv on providing MiG-29 fighters to the Ukrainian army.

On December 2, Ireland pledged an additional EUR 125 million of financial support for Ukraine amid the first visit of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska to the country. The funds will be used for non-lethal military support and energy.
