Russian dictator vladimir putin has delayed a meeting with the American delegation on the resolution of the war in Ukraine by three hours. At this time, US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner strolled around Moscow. Neither side has named the specific results of the talks, but they have been described as "productive and constructive."

The talks on the peace plan began almost three hours later than initially stated by putin's press secretary. It is said that this is not surprising, given the russian dictator's habit of making foreign dignitaries wait.

Meanwhile, Witkoff and Kushner, killing time, had a walk around Moscow and lunch at an elite restaurant while putin made statements to the press, in particular, accusing Europe of disrupting the peace process and hinting at a future escalation.

Later, putin greeted Witkoff and Kushner in a video released by the Kremlin, asking if they liked Moscow, to which Witkoff replied: "It's a wonderful city."

The meeting of the parties ended well after midnight local time.

Putin's foreign policy adviser Kirill Dmitriev, who was present at the talks, called the meeting "productive." Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov, who was also present, described the conversation as "useful, constructive and very meaningful," but added that "a lot of work" still lies ahead.

Recall, Ushakov stated that after negotiations in Moscow with the American delegation, no compromise version of the peace plan for the settlement of the war in Ukraine was found.

Also, according to Ushakov, putin pointed to the "destructive actions of the European side," which indicates, the publication notes, that he may try to blame any failure in reaching a peace agreement on the EU, which, remarkably, was not represented at the meeting.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, meanwhile, according to media reports, after a visit to Moscow and lengthy negotiations with the russian side, American representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner canceled their planned visit to Brussels to meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
