Russian dictator vladimir putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said that after negotiations in Moscow with the American delegation, no compromise version of the peace plan to end the war in Ukraine was found.
Ushakov said this during a press conference following the five-hour talks, which was broadcast by russian media, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Putin's aide said that, according to the russian dictator, Moscow can agree to something within the framework of the US plan for Ukraine, but something is causing criticism from the russian side.
"So far, no compromise version has been found, but some American developments can be discussed," Ushakov said.
He claims that Moscow received four more documents in addition to Trump's initial plan for a settlement in Ukraine.
According to him, the meeting discussed the essence of the US plan to end the war, and not specific proposals.
In addition, Ushakov noted that the possibility of a meeting between putin and US President Donald Trump will depend on the progress made towards a settlement.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, putin threatened to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea if Kyiv continues to engage in "piracy" against russian tankers.
